Awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal (2022) for advocacy to improve quality of life and access to treatment for Multiple Myeloma patients and caregivers.

Secured funding to save the East End Pool, reopened in 2019 following a $2 million municipal investment

Helped deliver a new East End playground and Jumpstart Inclusive Multi Sport Court

Led improvements to local parks including Grove Hamlet Park, Valleyview Park, Ellerdale Park, East Street Park, Lewisville Park, Silverwood Park, and Savannah Heights Park

Ongoing improvements to Humphrey Brook Trail and Irishtown Nature Park trail system

Worked with the Province and City to address noise and pollution concerns on Toombs Street

Supported the installation of colours at the roundabout on Killam Drive to represent a Medicine Wheel: a significant and culture-specific symbol for Indigenous communities. Each colour represents an element and contains traditional teachings of Indigenous people

Supported installation of Downtown rainbow crosswalks

Successfully amended the animal control bylaw to include cats
