SHAWN CROSSMAN FOR MAYOR
Together
For Moncton
Building a stronger city through collaboration, practical leadership, and a shared vision for the future.
Moncton is a growing and dynamic city, and that growth brings both opportunity and responsibility. Strong leadership means planning carefully, listening to the community, and making decisions that ensure our city continues to thrive. My priorities focus on practical solutions that support residents, strengthen neighbourhoods, and position Moncton for long-term success.
My Vision
& Priorities
Every resident deserves to feel safe in their home, their neighbourhood, and throughout the city. Public safety is one of the most important responsibilities of municipal leadership.
My approach focuses on strengthening collaboration between the city, the RCMP, our firefighters, and community organizations to address both immediate concerns and long term solutions. This includes supporting frontline policing and firefighting resources, improving community safety initiatives, and optimizing our core municipal operations, including By Law Enforcement.
By working together with law enforcement, social agencies, and residents, we can continue building safe and welcoming neighbourhoods across Moncton for everyone.
Public Safety

Housing & Responsible Growth
Moncton continues to experience strong population growth, bringing new opportunities for our community and our local economy. Managing that growth responsibly is essential.
I support thoughtful development that balances new housing opportunities with the protection of existing neighbourhoods. Smart planning means making sure our infrastructure, services, and community amenities keep pace with growth.
This includes encouraging a range of housing options for families, seniors, and young professionals while maintaining the character of our communities. By planning carefully today, we can ensure Moncton grows in a way that remains sustainable, inclusive, and welcoming for future generations.

As Moncton grows, so must the infrastructure that supports daily life. Roads, public transit, active transportation routes, and city services all play an important role in maintaining a high quality of life.
I believe investments in infrastructure should be thoughtful, strategic, and focused on the long-term needs of our community. Maintaining roads, improving transportation connections, and supporting accessible transit options will help ensure residents can move efficiently throughout the city.
Planning for future growth also means making sure infrastructure investments support economic development, neighbourhood livability, and environmental sustainability.
Infrastructure & Transportation

Local businesses are the backbone of Moncton’s economy. Supporting entrepreneurship, attracting investment, and creating conditions where businesses can grow will continue to strengthen our city’s economic future.
I understand the challenges faced by business owners, and I believe municipal government should be a partner in supporting economic growth. This includes maintaining a competitive business environment, supporting downtown vitality, and encouraging investment that creates jobs and opportunity.
A strong and diverse local economy benefits the entire community and helps ensure Moncton remains one of the most dynamic cities in Atlantic Canada.
